How to play dota behind a firewall/university restriction

I have recently figured out a method to play dota online with friends (connecting to battle.net) even though I am being blocked by an annoying firewall at uni. Now I can happily bypass the firewall restriction and dota like crazily LOL.

So here are the setup:

1. Download Your Freedom (The software for bypassing any firewalls and internet restriction)

Go to the download page and download the newest client.
There are actually many info in the web teaching you how to use the software and how to configure your client for playing games. Your Freedom is a really great software having tried many socks server and Your Freedom is just the best.

However, this cool software is not totally free. You can use the free service for a continuous 1 hour period, but when the 1 hour is up, it will automatically cut down the connection, which can be quite annoying. If you think there service is good you can try their different plans (with unlimited connection time and with different bandwidth), I am using their enhanced plan and I think the price is really acceptable comparing with other socks 5 server out there.

2. For me, I use the Your Freedom with the OpenVPN mode. Using OpenVPN mode, you do not need to configure any other setting, just check the OpenVPN in port section of the client.
So you can now by pass all the annoying firewalls now!!
